Live in your own home with just the right support around you help with daily tasks and personal care that builds confidence, routine and real independence.
Supported Independent Living is about having a home that genuinely feels like yours, with the right level of help woven quietly into your day. It’s one of the NDIS supports that can make the biggest difference to your independence giving you assistance with everyday tasks and personal care, while keeping you firmly in charge of how you live. Whether you live on your own or share a home with others, our role is to make daily life smoother, safer and more your own.
We start by getting to know you: your routine, your goals, the things you’d like to manage yourself and the moments where a hand makes all the difference. From there, we build support around you rather than asking you to fit around a service. The aim is never to do everything for you it’s to help you build skills and confidence over time, so the support can gently step back as you grow more independent.

Funding SIL through your NDIS plan
Supported Independent Living is usually funded under Core Supports in your NDIS plan, separate from the cost of your housing, with the exact amount depending on your assessed needs and living arrangement. If you’d like a hand understanding what your plan covers or getting SIL included, our support coordination team can help you navigate it.
Above all, SIL is about more confidence, more capability and more of the life you want in a place that’s truly your own. If that’s the kind of support you’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you and talk about how we can help.
Talk to a real person
Questions about funding, availability or where to start? We’re glad to help no jargon, no pressure.
Consistency is everything in a home. We take real care to match you with support workers who suit your needs, your personality and your routine and we work hard to keep those same familiar faces turning up, so you’re never re-explaining yourself to a stranger. Our workers are carefully screened, trained and chosen for genuine warmth, and we stay flexible as your needs shift from week to week.
Good communication keeps it all running. We check in regularly, listen to your feedback, and adjust your support so it keeps working for you. If something isn’t right, you tell us, and we put it right, simple as that.
Is Supported Independent Living right for you?
SIL tends to suit people who need regular support throughout the day or overnight to live safely and well in a shared or individual home. If you’re moving out of the family home for the first time, transitioning from supported accommodation, or simply finding that daily tasks have become harder to manage alone, it can be the bridge that makes independent living realistic. It’s most often funded for people with higher daily support needs, and it works hand in hand with the home you live in.
Not sure whether SIL or another option fits your situation? We’re always happy to talk it through honestly and point you in the right direction, even if that’s not us.
